Regular Middle School Fall Season
September 30th - December 14th
Practice Times:
Weekdays - 4:30 - 6:45 pm
Saturdays - 8:30 - 11:30 am
You will select which WEEKDAY practice you would like to attend during registration. Please see the below descriptions for the programs available (singles & eights)
Singles:
Available Monday, Tuesday, Friday
Rowers will be "Sculling." Each rower has two oars. Also written as "1x," there is one rower per boat.
Eights:
Available Tuesday & Thursday
Rowers will be "Sweep Rowing" Each rower has one oar. Also written "8+," there are eight rowers per boat plus one coxswain who steers and directs rowers.
All MS rowers will row eights on Saturdays
* There IS practice on Labor Day
*After daylight Savings, practices will end at 6:30 pm
*No Thanksgiving week practices

Once you have signed up for the Regular Middle School Season you may add additional days to your athlete's schedule.
You will select the days during the registration process.
Singles & Eights are available as follows:

Spring Fee for transportation from Pine View to Sarasota Crew for middle school students. Runs for any Monday-Friday option. You receive it for all days you come to practice.

Extend your Spring season
- April 8 - May 8
- Practices run Tuesday & Thursdays 4:30-6:45
- Primarily 8+'s. Some other boats may be included at coaches discretion.
- Compete at USRowing Southeast Regional Championships!
- 2 Day Race May 10 & 11th at Lake Lanier in Gainesville, Georgia
- Race fees will be separate
- Must become a "Championship member" of USRowing to race at USRowing Southeast Regional Championship. This cost is $65 for new members. You will need the Sarasota Crew club code: ZKZ6L to register as a member on USRowing website.
