Most Memorable: Hauling with Travis, Andre and my brother during a grueling piece that Andre couldn't row due to a broken seat for half the piece. The Mens Varsity Tri killed it
Most Embarrassing: When I missed the turn during the single's time trial and ended up two crews down from my brother.
Favorite Regatta: Sweeping States 2014
Miss the most: The camaraderie amongst the 1V. It is irreplaceable.
What did Crew do the most for you: Taught me the value of being part of a "crew" and not just a rowing team. There are bonds that exist that stretch beyond showing up for practice and racing.

Most Memorable: My first ice bath before the Winter Park-Plant Crew duel. The 1V was taking turns submerging themselves in 400 pounds of ice at the Dupuis' home, and my brother wussed out in the first minute. Hilarity and jeering ensured.
Most Embarrassing: Hitting a piling dead on in a double while I was rowing with Crew over Spring Break 2013. Best part is, it keeps coming up in conversations. So much for my bowing skills.
Favorite Regatta: Sweeping States 2014. Hands down, best time I've ever had in an 8, and it was a great race.
Miss the most: The moments in the 8 during long, steady pieces when how much time remains doesn't matter, the water is still, the air is crisp, the sun is shining, and 8 guys are giving it their best while the boat just seems to fly. Florida is at it's most beautiful during moments like those.
What did Crew do the most for you: Crew taught me the value of trusting teammates. My club never raced competitive big boats, so I was always just The Double, relying only on myself and my brother. Here, I've had the pleasure of racing with guy's equally or more driven than myself, and it's really ignited my passion for collegiate rowing. I want to find in the future, a team dynamic that can match what the Crew has here.

Most Memorable: Winning States in the 3V for 3 years in a row. And meeting Tara Strauss.
Most Embarrassing: During the 17K, I had to go to the bathroom very, very badly and I didn't think that I was going to make it to the end and Sammi had to listen to me complain during the whole row.
Favorite Regatta: States 2013, Halloween Regatta because I got to row with Tara Strauss and Cassidy Marryott.
Miss the most: My 3V princesses, the lifelong friendships I've made, Port a Potties, Seat racing and BARB.
What did Crew do the most for you: Crew taught me how to manage my time better, even though I still procrastinate. It also gave me lifelong friendships with people I am lucky to have in my life.

Most Memorable: The second 1000 meters of finals at 2013 Nationals. I have never been more excited to end a race and get off the water.
Most Embarrassing: Eventually proving that the lucky racing shirt does indeed keep you from getting last place.
Favorite Regatta: My favorite Regatta would have to be both the Regional Championships that we spent traveling to Georgia 2011 and Tennessee 2013.
What did Crew do the most for you: I will miss the family that I have grown to be a part of for the past five years. The people that make up our team are some of the greatest individuals I have ever met and will ever meet. Also, Andre Dupuis's beautiful smile.
What Crew taught you: Crew has transformed me into the person I am today and has allowed me to really find myself in high school. It has provided me with opportunities that most people can only dream of completing in their lifetimes.

Most Memorable: When the Charles four tried rowing in the lightweight shell and did so horribly Marty told us to go home. After lifting the boat out of the water, we couldn't walk towards land because a snake was blocking our way. We threw someone's sneaker at it, only to discover there was a huge lizard on my shirt. It was a finger-poppin, eventful day to say the least
Most Embarrassing: All of seventh grade, when I used to wear polos to practice sometimes
Favorite Regatta: Head of the Charles 2012.
Miss the most: I'll miss Marty's 4:00PM alarm going off every day and Kirby's meowing. I'll miss the collective grumble when we realize we have a land day. But most of all I'll miss the family we've become at crew after all these years.
What did Crew do the most for you: Crew definitely made me more athletic that I'd ever imagined myself being. It taught me dedication and perseverance, making me realize what it means to work hard, be dedicated, and be part of a team

Alumni 2014

Most Memorable: All of the times we learned to live on charter buses, loitered in hotel hallways, screamed our heads off on the sidelines and celebrated our victories as a team. Struggling through two-a-day practices and accepting that there was no way we could escape tan lines entirely brought us together and created the incredible dynamic that kept us coming back year after year.
Most Embarrassing: The garlic knot indicent of Regionals 2011. If you know, you know.
Favorite Regatta: The Head of the Charles.
Miss the most: The camaraderie - I have spent the past five years with these people who have become like family. Also, I'll miss all of the wildlife.... There are no dolphins in New Haven.
What did Crew do the most for you: Crew has taught me commitment, perseverance and the value of hard work. The endless workouts and 4AM regattas have been worth it, because spending time with my crew family has shaped who I am.

Most Memorable: Would have to be when the water was white-capping and the boats were filling up so fast that we had to dock at Osprey Oars and walk back to crew soaked and barefoot.
Most Embarrassing: When I crabbed in a race....we still got third (out of 4 boats) because the other boat went off the course.
Favorite Regatta: Head of the Hooch my novice year.

Most Memorable: Finding a dead body at the Head of the South
